You are already aware that our Worshipful Master loves to talk. Well as it turns out, he loves to write as well. This new feature will soon be providing him a new venue for his missives, and another reason for you to check this site more frequently. The new page will allow Bro. Paul, and hopefully all future WM's to speak, and share their thoughts with you between meeting times, and also provide you an opportunity to respond.

Just a reminder about the Annual Ox Roast to be held Sunday, July 30th. Members, Friends, Family, all are welcome. See the Event Calendar for more details.

The June Lodge Notice contains an error. The Extra Meeting will be held on the third Thursday(as usual), June 21, not June 14, as listed. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. On the bright side, this affords all of you an extra week to plan to support your Lodge by your attendance.

There is a Brother in Texas by the name of Carl E. Jones who is a Past Master of Knox-Corinthian Lodge No 851, in Dallas Texas. Brother Carl sends out an interesting monthly newsletter. Although the newsletter deals mostly with Masonic activities and interests in the Dallas area, he has a strong readership and receives items from Brethren all over the country. While perusing his most recent issue I came across an item from Maui Lodge in Kahului, Hawaii. Brother Carl recommended to everyone to check out Lodge Maui's Trestleboard. I make it available here to anyone interested in seeing what Masonry is like from an exotic location like Hawaii. Seems they're a quite busy bunch.

Introducing the new "Welcome" and "Announcements" pages
Each time you visit this site, you will be greeted by the new "Welcome" page. This page has been designed to be helpful and informative to the membership and to non-masons alike. For the non-mason visiting the site, it will present informative content while promoting Freemasonry in General.

For the membership, each time you visit, you will be given a choice to either:
1. "Enter Site", in which case you will be placed at the Home page, or
2. "Check for New Announcements", which will bring you to this page. Here you will find a constantly growing list of the latest announcements regarding updates, events, or communications of a general nature. This will be in addition to the email announcements which are sent when the site is updated.

Each item will contain the original date of the announcement, followed by a headline, and finally the text of the announcement. In this way, you can always be sure that you are up date with the latest information posted on the site just by stopping here first when you visit. The announcements will appear in chonological order beginning with the most recent, thereby affording you a quick and easy way to determine whether or not you are up to date with the latest information. As the announcements become outdated or "stale", they may periodically be removed from the list. Stay tuned for further announcements. See the "Welcome" page
