Brethren,
When I talked about change last month, I should have included the weather. WOW, what a change! Your Officers and I feel very badly about having to cancel the February Stated Meeting, but we were not the only ones to have to do so, the Temple was empty. On a brighter note, I hope to see everyone out at our March Stated Meeting, which is our 136th Anniversary meeting. We will be covering some material from February, but the original program for that month is moved to a later date to be announced. Brother William Savage, Junior Warden has made arrangements for the Mayor of Chester, the Honorable Wendell N. Butler, Jr., to speak at dinner about programs taking place in that city. We have close ties to numerous Brethren from Maryland. Brother Joseph Fletcher, PM. has informed me that Brother Jack Biggs and Brother Fran Larrimore, both Past Grand Masters of Maryland, will be travelling to visit us. They are old friends of our lodge and we look forward to seeing our Brethren from south of the Mason Dixon Line. Brother Charles Holoway DDGM and Brother Gary Davis PDDGM will also be visiting us, and I look forward to seeing them as well. Easter is fast approaching and we will again conduct Palm Sunday Service for the residents of the Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill, March 28, 2010. Full information is elsewhere in this Lodge Notice.
Brethren have a great day and God Bless. Fraternally yours,
William M. Roosevelt, III, P.M. Worshipful Master
