Also please send in your reservation for the trip to Alexandria Virginia on June 7th, 2008. The space on the bus is limited and is filling up very fast. The time at which we will be leaving for Alexandria has been moved forward to 7:30 am. If you can attend this trip it should be a Masonic memory that will last a lifetime. We will be traveling to the George Washington Memorial in Alexandria, Va., to visit that Masonic treasure. We will open/close the lodge and confer a degree to a candidate. This ritualistic work will be done by a combined degree team from both lodges no. 19 and no. 135.

Hackenberg-Mt. Moriah No. 19

The wearing of the Square and Compasses carries with it those demands which distinguish the Mason from others in the community.
It is an emblem of honor. It stands for stability of purpose. It speaks the words: "My trust is in God."
It means respect for womanhood.
It means loyalty to country, both in time of peace and in time of war.
It means obedience to law and opposition to all forms of violence and hate.
It means that the wearer is trustworthy.
It means that the wearer's honor and reputation are concerned in supporting with dignity the character he bears, the emblem he displays and the Fraternity he represents.
Let us wear the Square and Compasses proudly.
