WM MESSAGE

Hello Brethren,
So far we’ve had a good year, having raised two new brothers in March. We also have two candidates scheduled to be raised in May.
The year’s events are starting to gather steam also. In April we will have our Ladies’ Night event, this year featuring Ms. Bonnie Shalala. Bonnie will be giving a presentation on Eastern Star and Daughters of Job. I’m looking forward to her presentation and perhaps the information will inspire some of our ladies to get involved in the organization. If you plan to attend please contact me to let me know how many guests you will be bringing with you. June will bring our annual George Craft Family Night. Entertainment for the evening will be a local jazz band.
This summer’s events are coming up fast. First up on July 12th is a trip to beautiful Longwood Gardens. The cost for this event is $15 for members and $20 for non-members, which includes admission to the facility and a voucher for one meal. Meals included an appetizer, entrée, desert and drinks. The cost for children under 12 years old will be $3, which includes admission and a meal. Then on August 2nd we will be taking a trip to Campbell’s Field to see the Camden Riversharks minor league baseball team. Tickets for the event are $16 for members and $20 for non-members. The cost includes admission to the game and a 2 hour all you can eat buffet. Also, children under 12 y.o. get a complimentary Acme Fun Zone wristband for unlimited access and carousel rides! To reserve your tickets for either event please contact me by phone at 215-426-2286 or by email at jp12533@gmail.com. The deadline to purchase your tickets for either event is June 12, 2008. I hope all of you are as excited about these events as I am. I am really looking forward to seeing as many of you there, and at our stated meetings, as possible. Take care brethren.
Fraternally,
John F. Ponte, W.M.
