Finally, we have arrived, in that we now have this great website. Not only will it serve to communicate to our members, but it is also a wonderful tool to let other masons and the greater web community see who we are, what we are doing and planning .I studied many Masonic websites and found that this format would be easy to read and update. 2010 began with a bang, namely that we realized we were only 12 months away from our 200th Anniversary, February 12, 2011. We had several petitions pending and attracted some Dual members as well. It is clear that we as the "oldest German speaking Masonic Lodge " in the US, present an attraction to others in the fraternity ,even from other jurisdictions .We have in the past and will again ,this fall ,perform "Shadow" Lodges , by request. We are strengthening our lodge during this year and are even getting more efficient in giving English degrees, on our own. I am sure that by emphasizing the ritualistic instruction and learning all its parts correctly, we will get great satisfaction from it and experience the happiness that comes from active participation and we will help start our new and younger members of our lodge, on the great journey to the East! This coming fall we will have a full schedule of new candidates and a good group for the "One Day Journey", happening on October 30. Some of the upcoming degrees are very interesting, especially a "German" third degree in October. Come join us on the 2. Wednesday of each month for an interesting time and good fellowship!
