A Letter From the Worshipful Master, Brownstone Lodge #666

Brethren,

It is an honor to serve you, the brethren, as Worshipful Master of Brownstone lodge for the year 2008.

I hope to have a fun filled year busy with activities for our lodge.  Plans include our traditional Ladies Night in April, the Annual Banquet in October, a trip to New York to see a Broadway Musical in the fall, as well as some fund raising events throughout the year.

The Masonic journey is one filled with learning, knowledge and good fellowship.  Brownstone has a long tradition of excellence in the Masonic work we perform as well as serving the community in which we live.  We as Masons are known for our charitable nature and willingness to go out of our way to help a brother in need.  William Penn once said:

“I may pass through life but once.  If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again.”

I encourage you to get involved with the activities within our lodge and take the opportunity to get to know our Brothers.  Our fraternity is only as strong as the members who serve it.

Fraternally,

 Jeffrey R. Porr, Worshipful Master
