William died at the age of 76.  He served our country in the Army and retired as a

Major after having served in both Korea and Vietnam.  He retired from the Pittsburgh City Police in 1993.

Burial was at the National Memorial Cemetery in Cecil, Pa.

"Forasmuch as it has pleased Almighty God in his wise providence to take out

of this world the soul of our deceased Brother, we mourn his departure.

Farewell my Brother: you have done your job well, you have gone to meet

your God, and may he approve of you."
