February 11, 2009 John A. Brashear Lodge conferred the Third Degree on Brother Bob Mente ( KB3NUQ ). What was different about this degree is that every position of the conferring team are Past Masters of their Lodges and are also Licensed Amateur Radio Operators.
It was a fun evening with a surprise visit by the District Deputy Grand Master. Attendance was good. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed refreshments after the meeting.
