I
became a Mason when I asked my father-in-law, William Klein, who was a
member of Lafayette Lodge, “How does someone become a Mason?” He informed me I would have to sign a petition
and he would present it to Lafayette Lodge; then a committee would visit me
and they would present it to the Lodge. At a stated meeting my petition was
read and was approved. I became a Mason
in 1946, started through the chairs and became Worshipful Master in 1950. I
will have been a member for sixty (60) years this year and in March I will
be 82 years old. At present I am in very good health and I always look
forward to receiving my Lodge notices. Fraternal Regards, Fred C. Wagner [Dated January 24, 2006]
