Paul Miller Moore, 2nd Worshipful Master of Woodlawn Lodge No. 672, rose to the esteemed position of Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of PA in 1939. He further rose to the esteemed position of Grand Master of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of USA for the period of 1961-1963.

Robert A. Pote, 49th Worshipful Master of Woodlawn Lodge No. 672, rose to the esteemed position of District Deputy Grand Master, Masonic District 37, Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Brother Pote served in the capacity of DDGM for the period of 1975-1985.

Brother Pote was also Editor of the Pennsylvania Freemason from June 1987 through December 1991.

On April 3 1985, RWB Arthur William Kratzert, became the 139th Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Connecticut. Having been born in Monaca, PA., he was raised to Master Mason in Woodlawn Lodge No. 672, in Aliquippa, PA, and affiliated with Friendship Lodge #33, Southington, CT, on September 4, 1963. He has served with distinction as Master of Friendship Lodge in 1968 and Secretary from 1982 through 1987. He was District Deputy for Masonic District 5B in 1977 & 1978, and was appointed RW Grand Junior Steward in 1979. He has served with distinction in numerous Masonic offices, including those in York Rite, Scottish Rite, the Sphinx Temple and in local community affairs. He was also coronated a Sovereign Grand Inspector General, 33 Degree, in St. Louis, Missouri.

On April 1 1987, MWPGM and Illustrious 33rd Degree Arthur W. Kratzert received The Pierpoint Edwards Medal in Bronze for Distinguished Masonic Service.

On March 31, 2006, the Grand Architect of the Universe called RWB Kratzert from labor to repose.

William H. Weichsel, 66th Worshipful Master of Woodlawn Lodge No. 672, rose to the esteemed position of District Deputy Grand Master, Masonic District 37, Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Brother Weichsel served in the capacity of DDGM for the period of 1999-2005.

After completing his term as District Deputy Grand Master, Brother Weichsel was installed as the Puissant District Deputy Grand Master of District # 1 of Grand Council of Royal & Select Master Masons of PA in June 2006.
