| December 2004
Brethren:
Welcome to the 92nd Anniversary Year for Woodlawn Lodge #672!
Your Lodge has a full schedule of programs and activities
for your enjoyment this coming year, including February Homeland
Security night with the County Detective in charge of Beaver
County Security, Pennsylvania Game Commission night in March,
District Deputy Grand Master's Night at the Masonic Homes
at Sewickley in May, "Stroke - Signs and Symptoms" with the
Director of the Ohio Valley Hospital's Rehabilitation Unit
in June, a Shriner's Hospital night and film in November,
and an important and timely talk by a member of the Penn State
Cooperative Extension in April. Our Past Masters' Banquet
& Wives' Appreciation Night at Franzee's Restaurant will once
again be held in April as well.
As incoming Worshipful Master, I am introducing a Master's
Minute dialog into the monthly stated meeting, to convey a
short message about selected topics of interest to Master
Masons. Some of the subjects include the Past Master's jewel;
the meaning of the number- 3 in Freemasonry; the Orders of
the Star and Garter; how each Body within Freemasonry measures
time, and much more.
Also I encourage you to come & see "Designs Upon Our Trestleboard",
items of Masonic Interest displayed at each meeting!
Building on the successes of 2004, we will again offer a
summer picnic for our families, and in addition, our Lodge's
stated meetings will include four family-oriented program
nights which are sure to appeal to the wives and guests that
may attend. We also hope to have a Saturday afternoon meeting
and luncheon in October, so that some of our members who don't
drive at night can come to Lodge.
Your officers are hard at work in rehearsals to insure that
Woodlawn Lodge #672 continues to merit the reputation in the
37th Masonic District which it has always enjoyed, that of
having the best possible ritualistic work done in the most
correct manner. You are always invited to attend our Monday
evening rehearsals held at 7:00 pm., for an hour of fellowship
and ritual.
On behalf of the officers of Woodlawn Lodge #672, I extend
to you a warm and fraternal welcome, and an invitation to
attend the regular stated meeting held at 7:30 p.m. on the
third Friday of each month.
Together we will make the 2005-year a memorable one as we
return to Masonic roots, learning while having fun! I look
forward to seeing you!
Sincerely and Fraternally,

February 2005
Brethren:
February reminds us of St. Valentine's Day, In our doings
this month, let us all remember our wives and sweethearts

out of the Lodge.
Homeland Security is the program for this month's meeting,
a topic of interest to us all. Bring your lady to the meeting.
and join us for this important and timely presentation.
A Masonic apology is given to all that found the errors in
the January meeting notice. The printer has been notified,
and corrections have been made. Also, a special thanks is
owed this month to Brothers Frederick
, PM and Robert
, without whose hard work much of the Lodge's financial workings,
and logistics could not be done. Brethren, each and every
one of you are appreciated for your contributions to the welfare
of your Lodge, no matter what skills you are able to offer.

December 2005
Brethren:
Our 2005 Masonic Year is nearly finished. with our annual
election of officers to be held during our Stated Meeting
in December.
This month we bid goodbye to Brother William H. Weichsel,
P.M. as he completes his successful term as District Deputy
Grand Master of the 37th Masonic disfrict. Bill has served
us, and Grand Lodge, faithfully and well during his tenure
since 1999, he will be truly missed. We wish him every success
in all his future Masonic endovers, and look forward to seeing
him on the sidelines at our meetings in 2006, as well as at
other Masonic functions. Well done, Brother Weichsel!
It has been a great honor and privilege to serve as your
Worshipful Master in 2005, and I thank each and every member
who supported our efforts on behalf of the Lodge this year
from the bottom of my heart. I hope that our Past Master’s
banquet, the flag presentation at our meeting at the Masonic
Homes at Sewickley, our family picnic and all the other fine
activities this year will remain in your memory as they always
will in mine.
Our officers and instructors this year have been true and
loyal Brethren: without them and their special efforts Woodlawn
Lodge No. 672 would be a very different Lodge. They deserve
a special thanks, and especially from your WM, for no one
stands in the East alone. Brethren you are the best of the
best.
May the Great Architect of the Universe bless us all during
the holiday season, and give us peace.
