2009 SPECIAL EVENT SCHEDULE

RWGM Visits 36th District
Bro. Stephen Gardner, RWGM will be visiting the District twice this spring: March 17th at
Springfield-Hanby Lodge and April 12 at George Bartram-Paul Sand Lodge. On each
occasion the Grand Master will present 50/60/70 year service emblems to anyone in the
District who would like to receive it personally from the Grand Master. Please let Bro.
Rick Swalm or the respective Worshipful Master know at least 2 weeks in advance.

36th Masonic District Banquet
and silent auction "Bids for the Kids"

Brethren are organizing for this great event! We need your feedback! This would not be in place of your Lodge's annual banquet.
However, should your Lodge decide not to have an annual banquet, you could use it as a night of fellowship with your Brothers, out on the town with your significant other. We also want to have a silent auction the same evening. The auction will benefit The Shriner’s Hospital.
Bro. John Heyburn recently visited Shriner’s Hospital. The spokesman said that they were having to adjust their budget belts very tightly. This is due to the capital fund taking a hit in the resent market downturn. The whole idea is to unite the 36th Masonic District with our local Shriners for an evening of very few introductions, (if you please), food, music, dancing, fun, and all for a great cause, The 36th Masonic District Banquet and "Bids for the Kids" a benefit for the Shriners Hospital. The Kids could use our help! Please forward this email to any District Brothers and local Shriners that you may know. Please take a moment to email Brother John E.
