Many activities sponsored by Westmoreland Lodge are open to the public. Just as Lodge members participate in community activities you may participate in public Lodge activities. The calendar will clearly mark Lodge activities that are open to the public.

Many wonder about how a man becomes a Mason or joins a Lodge. Now you no longer have to wonder "just ask". Many of your friends may already be members of a Lodge just ask them if they are, and tell them you are interested in joining a Lodge. He will then secure for you a Petition for membership in his Lodge for you to fill out. You may also contact one of the officers of Westmoreland Lodge and they will be happy to assist you in obtaining a petition for membership in the Lodge.

Your petition is presented to the Lodge. You then will have the opportunity to meet other members of the Lodge and have your questions about initiation and membership answered. Your wife and family also will have the opportunity to meet members of the lodge and have their questions answered. Just like all organizations, Masons have private meetings and business. There are no "Secrets" or hidden knowledge found in the Lodge. If you want to join an organization dedicated to faith, family, fraternity, and community then ask to join a Masonic Lodge.
