S Eugene Herritt, DDGM and his wife Sally hosted a picnic at their home for the officers of District 3 on July 23, 2006. Good food and fair weather were also arranged by the DDGM.
A relaxing time filled with abundant shade and stimulating conversation were enjoyed by all.
We, the officers and guests, of District 3 would like to thank our hosts for their hospitality and thoughtfulness at this very successful event.
Lodge 262 Ladies Night, May 6, 2006
Orrstown Lodge Number 262 held their 154th Anniversary and Ladies Night Banquet This well attended event was held at the TCL, Tall Timbers Park. Pictured, above right, are Worshipful Master Kurt Schaich, DDGM S Eugene Herritt, Senior Warden Brian O'Donnell, Junior Warden Ryan Nyswaner and their Ladies.

The entertainment was given by Soleil. We enjoyed a variety of songs from Laurie Matlock and Teresa Paul.

Cumberland Valley Lodge Number 315 held its 150th Anniversary Banquet on Friday, September 5, 2008.
The Grand Lodge Officers were in attendance led by Brother Stephen Gardner, RWGM.
The officers gathered as the food was prepared.
A table of collectables for the 150th Anniversary were displayed. We were honored with members of Prince Hall from Carlisle
At our head tables, both Grand Lodge Officers and the Officers of Lodge 315 were seated.
We were honored to have Brother Stephen Gardner, Right Worshipful Grand Master, as our keynote speaker.

I'm Available ** End Extra section -->Lodge 315 Annual Steak Night, May 4, 2006The steaks are being prepared as the event got under way at the TCL, Tall Timbers Park in Orrstown, PA The dress for this annual event is casual, except for the Officers. Plan to attend next year, first Thursday in May.
Brothers from many lodges were present. The three brothers in the As you can see, Secretary David Angle and WM Walter foreground are from West Virginia. Gehrett could not sport their casual clothes.

Lodge #586 Picnic, September 10, 2006
The annual Acacia Lodge Number 586 picnic took place at Pine Hill Recreation Park in Waynesboro. It was a beautiful day with delicious food which was enjoyed by all. Pictured above is S Eugene Herritt, DDGM, with 93 year old Max Snowberger. Brother Snowberger was honored with the receipt of his 50 year emblem at this event. Eureka Lodge #302 150th Anniversary Banquet
The 150th anniversary Banquet of Eureka Lodge Number 302 took place on September 23, 2006 in Harrisburg. District 3 was honored by a visit from RWGM Ronald A Aungst, Sr and other Grand Officers. Brother Aungst presented the brothers present with a label pin.
Brother Walter Daniels, PM was honored by the presentation of a Masonic Service Award. The Grand Master gave an inspiring talk on the importance of family in Freemasonry.
Entertainment was provided by the Keystone Capital Chorus.
