District Deputy Grand Master Return Home
Brother S. Eugene Herritt was installed as District Deputy Grand Master for the Third Masonic District during the Annual Grand Communication of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania on December 27th, 2005. He is a Past Master of Cumberland Valley Lodge Number 315 in Shippensburg and had served as Representative to the Grand Lodge for 25 years.
Brother
Herritt is a sales executive for Fortney Packages of Carlisle and is also a
sales representative for Beidel Printing House. He is a member of the Board of
Directors for Adams Electric Cooperative and The Pennsylvania Rural Electric
Association. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Shippensburg
University. Prior to his current employment he was a public school teacher for
eleven years, a sales representative for the 3M Co for five years and a sales
executive for The Beistle Co. for over 19 years.
In
addition to his local lodge Brother Herritt’s experience within the Masonic
Fraternity includes membership in the Harrisburg Consistory where he serves as
an officer in The Council of Princes and has participated in reunion degree work
for many years. He is also a member of York Rite bodies in Chambersburg,
Shippensburg Scottish Rite Club, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Pennsylvania Lodge of
Research and Franklin County High Twelve Club.
