Masonic Charities

Freemasons are respectable citizens who are taught to conform to the moral laws of society and to abide by the laws of the government under which they live. They are men of charity and good works. They remain unchallenged as "the world's greatest philanthropy"!

The Freemasons of America contribute more than two million dollars every day to charitable causes which they, alone, have established. These services to mankind represent an unparalleled example of humanitarianism, commitment, and concern by this unique and honorable fraternity.

Change For The Troops

Funds will be collected at every meeting of every lodge over the next two years.

This is a true grass roots effort. Lodge funds are NOT to be used for this. The source of the funding is intentional; it is to be the pocket change you otherwise would have carried out of lodge and taken home with you. This is deliberate. Each donation is to be given directly from the hands of the individual brothers at our lodges to our troops in harm's way in the combat theaters of Afghanistan and Iraq. Calling cards will only be sent to our men and women in those two areas of operation - nowhere else.

It is to be a conscious reminder of the price our men and women in the armed forces pay every day.

CHIP Program

The Masonic CHIP Program is the most comprehensive service of its kind anywhere. CHIP is provided free of charge to the public, though most families make a donation to help continue the program for other families.

All of the identifying items generated during CHIP are given to the child's family.

The Child Identification Program (CHIP) addresses the alarming fact that over 1,000,000 children are reported missing in the United States each year. While most are found, many are not, and the abduction of children is both under-reported and rapidly increasing in our society.

CHIP provides parents and guardians the means to quickly get vital information to emergency responders. The digital video and digital still photo on the mini CD is compatible are the Pennsylvania Amber Alert System.
