Eureka Lodge has had a presence in Mechanicsburg since 1856. As Worshipful Master I would like to tell you that we have a fine series of programs planned for 2007. Additionally we are fortunate to have a great line of officers and membership.
We take pride in upholding the traditions of our fraternity in general and those of Eureka Lodge in particular. We ask our members and visiting brethren to attend as many meetings as possible because I know that they will profit thereby.

Last year I saw the achievement of several significant milestones in my life. Eureka Lodge commemorated the 150th anniversary of the granting of its' warrant of constitution. This included a gala celebration and the presence of the Right Worshipful Grand Master.
Personally I completed two special events-first my devoted wife and I observed our Golden Wedding Anniversary and secondly it was also my fiftieth year as a Freemason. God has blessed me!

As it has been with each of my Masonic brothers, becoming a Freemason is one of the most significant event in a man's life. Quite simply, our fraternity exists to make good men better while teaching us to practice our duty to God, our neighbor, and ourselves.
Freemasonry also teaches us to be faithful in charity and benevolence.

In closing, I would like to leave you with the knowledge that men who are Freemasons share a feeling of friendship and brotherly love that has been present since our fraternity was founded centuries ago.
