York Rite of Freemasonry  

This is one of the two main branches of Freemasonry, the other being the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. 

Its name comes from the city of York which is located in the north of England.

Annual and general assemblies of the Craft are said to have been re-established in 926 AD.
