Charles Wilson, Lt.  

He was the Lieutenant in charge of the Royal Engineers who excavated under the Temple Mount in 1894.  (See "The Second Messiah" p 22)  (This date seems to conflict with the date of 1867 mentioned on p 26 of the same book.)
