Widdershins
Widdershins means to go Counter-Clockwise.
In the past it was considered to be a bad thing if you went Widdershins around a Christian church since that is in the opposite direction of the assumed motion of the Sun. If the Christians did not worship the Sun, of the Son of God, what difference would it make if you went around a Christian Church in the opposite direction from the Sun? Think about it.
