When Does an Age of the Zodiac Start?

An Age of the Zodiac seems to start at the time that the Sun is first in a specific constellation of the Zodiac at the time the Sun crosses the Equator of the Earth on the day of the Spring Equinox.

This is very difficult to accurately determine.
