What does God Want?

A very good question that cannot be answered by mankind.

The leaders of the various Revealed Religion seem to claim that they know what God wants, but perhaps what they say that God wants is really what they, the leaders of their Religion, want for themselves.

Since we assume that God is all-powerful, and was the Creator of the Universe, then God can have anything that He, She, or It wants simply be creating it.

We as human beings cannot know what God really wants.

An all-powerful God certainly needs no help from mankind, and probably hopes that mankind will not ever attempt to 'help' God.  Almost every time man attempts to 'help' God, mankind winds up murdering a lot more of God's creations that we know as human beings. I guess it is possible that God wants us to kill each other off but then again most great artists and inventers do not want their inventions or works of art to destroy any of their other works of art or inventions.  Why would we think that God wants us to kill of his other creations in an attempt to 'help' God?

A God that needs help from mankind would not be all-powerful and probably could not have created the great universe as we know it.

Religions, especially the Revealed Religions, stress the idea that God wants and needs your money so that God can find favor with you and grant you everlasting life.  Try to imagine something that God would buy with money! Religious leaders continue to preach this idea so that they, the Religious leaders who collect your money, will have the money you earned to spend for their desires.  Sometimes your donated money is actually used to help people in need but a huge percentage of the collected money goes to overhead like fancy buildings and nicer automobiles for the Church Leaders.  God has no need for money and probably has no store in which to spend your money.  I doubt that there is a warehouse anywhere that God can go to and buy a Planet to put somewhere in the Universe.  Perhaps a really super-duper Sam's Club for Gods?  God simply creates as desired.
