Virgo

Virgo is one of the 12 Constellations of the Zodiac.  Virgo is considered a Virgin, which at one time simply meant a young woman, not simply the current Christian idea that a virgin is a woman who has never had intercourse with a male human being.  According to Christianity one woman was allowed to have sex with God and still be called a virgin.

People born between 22 August and 21 September are said to have been born in the sign of Virgo.

Virgo was known as the House of Bread.  Virgo is often shown holding stalks of grain in her hand.

Her time ends with the Fall Equinox.

Mary, the supposed Mother of God, probably is called a Virgin because of Virgo.

At the time of the assumed impregnation (9 months before Christmas) of Mary (Mother of God), Virgo passed through the sky in the horizontal, or Missionary Position and thus in a good position to become pregnant by having sex with either God or a representative of God, or by a mere mortal.  This is another indicator that the religion of Christianity probably developed as a modified version of Sun Worship.  To see this all one must do is to study a computer program that can show the location of the stars throughout history.  I have used a program called Stellarium that is available for free from Stellarium.com.
