Vespers

Vespers is an evening prayer or evening worship service.

It is named for Vesper, or the Evening Star, which is the name used for Venus when it sets in the West shortly after the Sun has set.  This is just another example of Christianity using ideas that were used by Sun Worshipers, and other so-called Pagans.
