Venus
Venus is the name of the Roman goddess of love and beauty.
Venus is also the the second Planet from the Sun in our Solar System.
Venus, the Planet, is also known as Lucifer when Venus is the Morning Star, but Christianity seems to be an unhappy camper if one uses Lucifer as a name for Venus, since Christianity has demonized the Planet by stating that Satan is Lucifer.
Venus, when it it rises in the morning is considered to be the Light Bearer, or Bearer of Light. Shortly after Venus (Lucifer) rises in the East the Sun will soon also rise to open and rule the day.
Sometimes Venus rises in the morning shortly before the Sun and sometimes it sets in the evening shortly after the Sun has set.
When Venus sets in the West is is known as the Evening Star, or Vesper. This seems to have led Christianity to refer to evening religious services as Vespers. Another one of the many customs that Christianity seems to have taken from Sun Worshipers, and/or other so-called pagan religions. Christianity seems to honor Venus as Vesper but demonizes Venus when it is called Lucifer. Makes no sense to me since it is just another Planet in our Solar System.
Venus is usually the third brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon. It probably will not be the third brightest object during a nuclear weapon attack but at that point it probably will not much matter. Also perhaps at some time a comet or a meteorite may be brighter.
Venus seems to follow closely an eight year cycle and seems to exactly follow a 40 year cycle. Could this 40 year time period have something to do with the amount of 40 year time periods mentioned in the Holy Bible? Probably it does since much of Christianity seems to agree with the pagan worship of various heavenly bodies. Much of Christianity seems to be Sun Worship slightly changed.
