Henry L. Valance 

Henry L. Valance and two other Masons are said to have dumped the still living body of Captain William Morgan into the Niagara River in 1826. It is claimed that Henry L. Valance gave a confession of this act to his doctor while on his deathbed. (See "Rule by Secrecy" page 218)
