Utanapishtim
Is the hero of the Babylonian story of the Flood which can be read on the eleventh tablet of the Gilgamesh Epic. Another name for Utanapishtim is Ziusundra, which is listed in the Larsa list. See "the Hiram Key" page 87.
Could Utanapishtim be Noah by another name?
Utanapishtim was warned of the flood and took seeds and animals with him to survive the flood caused by the angry God known as Enlil. Very similar to the Christian beliefs about Noah. Most civilizations seem to have a similar story about a good man being protected from a flood.
