Turning Water Into Wine
In Christianity this is said to have been a miracle done by Jesus Christ. Like many stories in the Holy Bible perhaps this too should simply be considered as Allegorical and not really a true statement.
If Jesus Christ had water for the people to drink why would he turn it into wine unless he wanted them all to get drunk? Many denominations of Christianity consider the drinking of Wine to be a sin. Why would the Christians choose Jesus Christ as their leader if he encouraged the people to sin (according to many Christians) by the drinking of alcohol?
Turning Water into Wine may simply have been a Jewish saying indicating the turning of an ordinary man into a better man or perhaps into a priest or perhaps into a higher station in life. (See "The Second Messiah" p5)
It may also be considered similar to, or even the same as, Raising a Person from the Dead, or turning base metal into Gold (Alchemy), or perhaps turning the Rough Ashlar into the Perfect Ashlar.
Perhaps it can be used to indicate the turning of an ignorant person into an intelligent person by the teaching of Knowledge.
