Turkey Production in America

Pennsylvania is one of the top ten turkey producing states.

In 2011 PA raised about 8,000,000 turkeys.  The top producing state is Minnesota with 46,500,000 turkeys produced in 2011.

NC, AR, Mo, VA, IN, CA, and SC are also top producing states.

More turkeys are eaten around Thanksgiving time than at any other time of the year.
