Tubal Cain

The Gothic legends recite how the sciences were founded by the four children of Lamech, the smiths craft by Tubal Cain.  He is described in "Genesis" as an "instructor of every artificer in brass and iron."  See "Genesis" Ch4-22.

Tubal Cain was the son of Lamech and Zillah.

Tubal Cain has also been referred to by some as being the same as Vulcan.
