Three is an important number for Freemasonry as well as for many Religions and other organizations.
Plato and Aristotle are said to have believed that the number Three was the Symbol for the Supreme Being.
The Equilateral Triangle with Three sides and Three angles with the All-seeing Eye is said to be a universal symbol of the Great Architect of the Universe, or of God.

The Holy Bible considered three to be the value of Pi, even though it is not very close to being correct. The Holy Bible does a rather poor job of explaining Science or Mathematics. If God wrote the Holy Bible I doubt that he would have made a error like this.
