Symbol of Human Life on Earth

The Symbol of Human Life on Earth is the Hour-glass.

No matter who we are, or how good or how bad we act, or how much money we have, each of us has only a certain period of time that we will be alive.  We do not know how long that time will be.

The Hour-glass which continually drops sand until it is empty on the top is a good Symbol of Human Life on Earth.

Is your time on Earth predetermined by the Great Architect of the Universe, or is it determined by something else.

It often seems like only the good die young.

At some point in time we will all die, and many people assume that upon their death they will meet their maker, the Great Architect of the Universe.  One never knows when you personal Hour-glass will become empty.  Some people's Hour-glasses seem to have a lot of sand in them and other's have very little sand.  The sand in your Hour-glass will run out some day, probably sooner than you would like, but perhaps not as soon as you wish if you are suffering.

Do your good work now and attempt to make the world a better place in which to live before your Hour-glass goes empty.

Upon your death, when your Hour-glass runs out of sand, may God find that you have been a good person during your life, and that you led your life in a manner that was pleasing to Him.

Do not waste the precious time that you have left upon the Earth.  Do something useful.  Help others as much as you can.

Also remember that you cannot take you assets with you when you die however under current laws you can at least will the part that the government does not steal from your estate to someone you like.  A large portion of your estate will be stolen by the government and much of what is left will be taken by lawyers.
