Sunrise 

This is the time of the Day that the Sun appears to rise above the horizon.  It appears to rise in the East each morning.  Actually the Sun does not rise but rather the Earth spins on its axis and caused the Sun to appear to rise.  Of course it all depends upon the Frame of Reference that is used.

Christianity often holds special Sunrise Services at Easter to observe the rising Sun.  Very similar to what the Sun Worshipers do since Easter is almost always close to the the Spring Equinox which is one of the important Days of the Wheel of the Year.
