Sun Standing Still
Even the Holy Bible somewhere refers to God commanding the Sun to Stand Still so that more people could be murdered for God.
The sun appears to stop rising higher and higher each day on the Summer Solstice and appears to stop rising less and less each day on the Winter Solstice. Therefore the Sun, Son, Son of God, or Sun God seems to stand still for about three days twice each year.
At certain latitudes at the winter solstice the Sun or Son, Son of God, or Sun God would sink below the horizon and thus be 'dead' for about three days before being 'reborn' or born again. Does that ring any bells in your head? Might this have something to do with the Christian belief that of Christmas, and of Easter?
