Sun God

The Sun God has been worshipped for a very long time.  The Sun was known to be the object that determined if life existed.  It supplied all the energy needed for life.  Considering the Sun to be God was, and still may be, a very natural thing to do.  Sun Worship is still practiced by many.

The Sun is 'reborn' on December 21 or December 22 during modern times but during the time near the birth of Jesus Christ the Sun was 'reborn' on December 25.  This difference is due to various changes that have been made in the calendar.  The study of the calendar could take up an entire huge website.
