Stone Manuscripts 

I know very little about this.

Between January and May of 1721 several valuable Masonic documents were destroyed by "some scrupulous brothers that those papers might not fall into strange hands.  These documents are said to have included the Stone Manuscripts.  George Payne was Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of England at this time.
