Star
Stars is the plural of Star.
We consider the Stars to be the burning heavenly bodies in the night sky.
Our Sun is really just a small Star even though without the Sun life could not exist, at least as we know it, on Earth. This reliance on the Sun probably led to Sun Worship, which really does makes a lot of sense.
The number of Stars in the universe is probably uncountable.
Stars are a source of Light, but most Stars are so far away from the Earth that the light we receive from them is minuscule.
Stars are really nuclear reactors that give off energy.
Any given Star will only continue to burn for a certain period of time before it goes out or blows up. Our Star, the Sun, will probably blow up in a few billion years. I hope it continues to burn for at least another 50 years by which time I will no longer care as I will probably have become Food for Worms long before that time has passed.
New Stars are probably being created each and every day but we may not know about them for many years.
