Socrates 

Socrates lived from about 469 BC until 399 BC.

Socrates was forced to kill himself by drinking poison because he was accused of teaching the Athenian youth to not worship the gods that were accepted by the state.  He was accused of having them worship new and unknown Gods.

Socrates is just one of the many millions of People who have been Killed in the name of a God.
