Silver
Silver is a whitish valuable metal. Its chemical symbol is Ag. Silver is used in jewelry and as a way to store wealth.
Silver was discovered in huge amounts in Potosi, Bolivia in 1545. The Spaniards mined a lot of Silver and shipped it to Spain. (See "The Templar Pirates" page 57)
Silver was used as coinage for thousands of years.
Silver is a great conductor of electricity.
It is said that Jesus Christ was betrayed by Judas for thirty pieces of Silver.
