Masonic Sign of Distress
The Masonic Sign of Distress has save the lives of at least several Freemasons.
Captain McKinsty, of the US Army, who had been captured by American Indian troops, was saved by giving the Masonic Sign of Distress which was seen by Joseph Brant, who saved the Captain and delivered him to safety.
I have talked to Masons who have witnessed the Masonic Sign of Distress in use to save a man's life during WW2.
