Set
Said to have been the brother of Osiris.
Set is said to have murdered Osiris because of jealousy.
The murderer of Osiris has also been called Typhon.
Set had his testicles cut off by Horus, the son of Isis and the dead Osiris.
Set seems to have also been called Seth. (See Ancient Egypt - Its Culture and History by White page 8.) Is this the same Seth that is mentioned in the Holy Bible, first in Genesis 4-25?
The anti-Masonic website, www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/symbology/3o5.htm, states that Set is one of the Infernal Names for Satan. This is in reference to Albert Churchward being said to have written that the triangle pointing upward is a symbol of Set. I have no idea if it is true or not.
