Senior Warden
The second highest position in a Lodge of Masons.
His station is in the West where he sits like the setting Sun. He sits in the west as the sun sets in the West to close the day. There sits the Senior Warden to Close the Lodge, pay the Craft their wages if any be due and see that none go away unhappy.
In Pennsylvania, at least during the past few years, it is a duty of the Senior Warden to collect money for the Change for the Troops program of the the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.
The Office of the Senior Warden is an Elected Office. He is elected for a one year term that will start on the next Saint John's Day after the election.
If all goes according to the plan the Senior Warden will become the Worshipful Master for the next year.
