Secret
The Plural of Secret is Secrets.
A Secret is Knowledge that is not shared with others unless they have a right or need to know.
Most people, organizations, governments and Religions have Secrets.
Most folks do not have a problem with others having Secrets, but many people seem to think that the Freemasons are a bad organization because we have some Secrets that we do not share with every Tom, Dick or Harry.
It is very likely that even those Religions that are against Freemasonry probably have their own Secrets. Since they 'know' that their Religion is the one and only true Religion (at least as far as they are concerned) they seem to think that only they are allowed to have any Secrets.
Why would a Religion want to keep anything Secret?
The Vatican is even said to have a library that is known as something like the Vatican Secret Archives. I doubt that they let very many people look their Secrets but they seem to object to the Freemasons having any Secrets. This seems a lot like the pot calling the kettle black.
The only Secrets that the Freemasons have are the initiation processes and the methods of identifying each other to other Freemasons.
Even a church softball team will have 'Secret' signals to be used by its players.
