Second Coming of Jesus Christ

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is said to have been predicted to occur in 1948 by Sir Isaac Newton.  This is probably one thing that Sir Isaac Newton was wrong about. As of 2010, 62 years later, assuming that Jesus Christ returned in 1948, the Messiah has yet to make himself known.  He would have become eligible for some Social Security benefits in 2010.  If Jesus Christ had arrived in 1948 as a grown man he would, of course, most likely be probably be dead by now. Sir Isaac Newton should have stuck to the logical study of Science and not bothered making predictions with regard to the illogical study of religion.

I have also seen where some people think he picked 1996 or 1997 or 2016 as the year.  At least we can understand his scientific discoveries.

Some consider that the event occurred a rather short time after the Crucifixion and perhaps even that the Resurrection was the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Since only Christians believe that Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, was here the first time time they are the only people on Earth that believe that Jesus Christ will come again.  None of the other religions consider Jesus Christ to have been all that important.

So far all the predictions of the Second Coming of Jesus Chris have been wrong and will probably continue to be wrong, at least in the near future.

Perhaps the Second Coming of Jesus Chris came shortly after His death.  Perhaps he returns each year on or about the Winter Solstice, or Christmas.
