Royal Arch Degree

The RAD is said by some to have been developed around 1750 bus some credit Chevalier Ramsey with its earlier creation.  The RAM is considered by many to be the completion of the Master Mason Degree. (The Little Book of Freemasonry" p145)

It is said that the RAD ritual tells of the excavation of the ruins of King Herod's Temple. (See "The Second Messiah" p 24)
