Rosslyn Chapel
Construction of Rossyln Chapel seems to have started in 1446 by the Scottish noble Sir William Sinclair. It may have taken 40 years for its completion. I have also seen references to it being started in 1440.
Said to have been built starting in 1446 by the Sinclair family to hid the treasure of the Knights Templar. (See "Cracking the Freemasons Code" by Cooper page 7)
It is also said that construction started in 1440. (See "The Second Messiah" p 20)
Rossyln Chapel contains carvings of maize corn and aloe cactus which it is said should not have been even known about in Europe until long after the time of Christopher Columbus who got credit for finding America in 1492. I have read that the first turf was cut for the project in 1441 and that it was finished in 1486. The carvings are said to have been done by 1470. (see "The Hiram Key" page 79. This would indicate that someone had traveled to America at least before Christopher Columbus.
It is said that Rosslyn Chapel is a duplicate of King Solomon's Temple, or more likely King Herod's Temple.
Rumor has it that the secrets of the Knights Templar are buried under Rosslyn Chapel.
It has been rumored that even the Ark of the Covenant, the home of the Ten Commandments and the home of Yahweh the Storm God, is hidden in Rossyln Chapel. Is Yahweh still cooped up in there, if ever?
Rossyln Chapel is located near Roslin, in Scotland.
The double 's' and the 'y' in Rosslyn Chapel were added in the 1950 to make the name sound more Celtic. Ros is said to be a noun meaning ancient Knowledge and Linn is said to be a noun meaning generation. Thus Roslin seems to mean ancient knowledge passed down the generations. See "The Second Messiah" page 31 and 32.
A Latin inscription in Rosslyn Chapel translates as: 'Wine is strong, a king is stronger, women are even stronger, but truth will conquer all'.
Rosslyn Chapel seems to built in the shape of the Triple Tau. (See "The Second Messiah" p 25)
There seems to be a carving of a Masonic Initiation in Rosslyn Chapel which would mean that Freemasonry was alive and well by the 1440s. (See "The Second Messiah" p 39)
A carving in Rosslyn Chapel seems to show a person holding the Shroud of Turin or what is known as a Veronica representative of the non-biblical Saint Veronica who is said to have given her veil to Jesus Christ while Jesus Christ was on the way to Calvary. (See "The Second Messiah" p 40)
