Rollo (Hrolf)

Rollo is the Latin version of the name Hrolf, who was AKA Granger because of his size.

King Charles the Simple made peace with Rollo in 912 AD.  Rollo got the dukedom of the territories that were later known as Normandy.  Part of the deal was that Rollo had to marry Gisele, daughter of the king, and convert to Christianity. (See "Templars in America" page 9)
