Revealed Religion 

A Revealed Religion is a Religion that claims to be following information that was 'revealed' to someone, usually the creator of that Religion, by God.  Revealed Religions also are Expansionist Religions that work hard to get the largest market share of worshipers in the quest for the almighty donated dollar, by promising everlasting life if you believe as that Religion believes.  To have certain Revealed Religions promise you that you are 'saved' and thus will have an everlasting life all you have to do is write large monetary checks to that religion and say that you 'believe' the 'beliefs' of that Religion. The more money you can afford to donate to a Revealed Religion the quicker and easier you can be assured of qualifying for being saved.   

The founder of a Revealed Religion armed with the so-called revelations that God is said to have given him, then attempts to get others to believe that he has the 'true' and 'only' word of God.  Thus you must believe as the founder does, and donate money to the founder in order to have a great everlasting life after you die!

Once again there is, and can be, no logic or scientific basis for beliefs like this.  Logic and Reason are unwanted enemies of mast Religions.

Could ideas like this be considered true 'beyond reasonable doubt' as is required by our courts?  I do not think so.  The religious tales of most Revealed Religions are pretty wild and not very easy to consider as truthful.

Perhaps it is simply a great way for con-artists to get many poor people to donate their scarce assets to the leader of the Religion  so that the leader may live a good easy life.

Most Revealed Religions preach a lot of fear of a vengeful God and that its followers should not care if they, or the children, have enough to eat during this life, as long as they can please God to qualify for the next life by donating enough to the church leaders so that the church leader can have a good life this time around.  Of course the religious leaders like Jesse Jackson, Billy Graham, the Pope and others do not seem to be missing any of the niceties of this current life on Earth. Perhaps poverty induced by giving to your Religion, for God, to save your soul does not need to apply to these great church leaders.  The money donated by the followers of their respective Revealed Religions enables these leaders to have luxury cars, fantastic homes on prime real estate, private airplanes, the best jewelry and art work, and sometimes even a sexy mistress or two to keep them company while they are out 'saving people' either for or from God.  Have you ever seen a priest or preacher driving around in a piece of junk?  Perhaps an Amish Bishop may travel in what most of us would consider scrap since it is a buggy pulled by a horse, but to the rest of the Amish his ride is probably pretty nice compared to the rest of their buggies.

Please remember that the more money you give to God to save your soul for life after death will enable your preacher to live a better life on Earth before he dies.  Give until it hurts.  Revealed Religions seem to preach that God wants you to give your assets to God until it hurts your ability to enjoy your life on Earth.  This makes very little sense since we consider God to be the Creator and thereby the Controller of all things so God already has everything.  He does not have any need for, or desire, for the money you earned.  Since he created you he already owns your money by default.  Of course the concept of Money seems to be a manmade creation so why would the Supreme Being even be interested in having the manmade creation of cash, most of which is no fiat money and was simply created by placing a number of some piece of paper.

The mere fact that someone in the past claimed to have had religious truths revealed to him or her by God does not make it true.  If you are a 'believer' then you 'know' that God really did give this secret information to the founder of your Religion .  If you support some Religion  "B" then you 'know' that whatever was told to the founder of Religion  "A" has to be false because Religion  "B" is the one and only true Religion  that is correct in its beliefs.

Remember that just because a belief has been presented by 'believers' as true for a couple of thousand years does not make it true, or make it false.

At best only one of the Revealed Religions can ever be true.  You are sure that it is your Religion  but you have no way to prove that your Religion  is correct.  It is possible that God has never revealed any special Knowledge to the founder of any so-called Revealed Religion.  

Be a Freethinker and think about the probability that God really came to Earth to visit one person to give that lone person the real information about life, the universe and everything.  

All of the Revealed Religions started out as Cults.  They were despised and persecuted by the more powerful religions of their time until such time as the new religious cult gained enough membership to seize control.  When a Religion gains control of a country that religion then becomes the group that does the persecuting of all who do not follow its beliefs.
