Raised From the Dead

Raised from the Dead seems to have been a Jewish concept of making a person a higher level member of the Jewish Society, probably into a Religious Leader.  The Jews considered "the living' to have been Jews and 'the dead' to indicate all others.

Thus when Jesus Christ caused someone to be Raised from the Dead the person was probably just made a full fledged Jewish Religious Leader.  It probably had nothing to with taking a corpse and causing the person to again be physically alive.

Modern medicine brings many people back to life after they would have been considered dead in earlier times.  Modern medicine also keeps people alive long after they should have been permitted to die.  Mostly in the desire to acquire more money for someone!
