Queen of Sheba
The Queen of Sheba visited King Solomon. King Solomon was more than a bit fond of women and wanted her as his wife. She seems to have accepted his marriage proposal.
There is a legend that states that the Queen of Sheba became enamored with, after meeting, Hiram Abif and became romantically involved with Hiram Abif. This seems to have irritated King Solomon, who ordered the death of Hiram Abif. Hiram Abif was then killed as he attempted to depart the Temple one day by those who were told by King Solomon that the death of Hiram Abif would please King Solomon. See "The Story of Freemasonry" by W. G. Sibley page 11. It will be hard to prove or disprove this idea.
